CitationShares, founded in 2000, is a subsidiary of Cessna Aircraft Company that provides private aviation services. It offers services in fractional jet ownership, jet card membership, corporate solutions and whole aircraft management. CitationShares is one of the four major players in the private aviation market.[1] It is a seven-time winner of Best of the Best awards from the Robb Report, most recently in 2009.[2] *1
Since CitationShares is a subsidiary of the Cessna Aircraft Company, they get the same advantage in pricing as FlexJet gets from Bombardier. Newer equipment, less maintenance worries and a stable company platform to build on.
Personally, I like the fact, this company uses only the Cessna product line; In my mind, the best Corporate Jet fleet is built by Cessna. I like the Citations, because, for the most part, all the systems are simple, and similar: it does'nt matter which Citation you are flying you'll feel at home behind the controls.
CitationShares is another one of the better fractional operators out there. The pilot group seems to be happy in general, most of the complaints are generally QOL complaints... (Quality of Life) nothing new here this is the general topic of discussing with all the Fracs.

Overall, CitationShares is a good company, it will likely continue to be stable due to it's backing by the Cessna Aircraft Company.
Since the company is only about 1/10th of the size of NetJets the opportunities for employment are limitied.... (Less pilot hiring.)
