Bombardier Learjet And KS Governor Reach Financing Agreement
Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson (R) (pictured, right) and Bombardier Business Aircraft President Steve Ridolfi, announced the details Friday of a formal agreement that will secure production of the all-new midsize Learjet 85 aircraft at Bombardier Learjet in Wichita.
The latest creation of Learjet NXT from Bombardier Aerospace can be categorized as a new midsize plane offering a sitting to eight passengers in a stand-up cabin. With a high cruise speed of Mach 0.82 and a matchless transcontinental range of up to 3,000 nautical miles, the plane has become a much-awaited product for the aerophiles. The public disclosure of the plane is scheduled for October 2008. But the celebrating spirit is high as company has already received around 65 prospective buyers willing to take this new model as their belonging.
