FAA Brass Pushes NextGen

FAA’s biggest guns -- current and past -- turned out to urged the swift implementation and funding of NextGen, the satellite-based air traffic management system, at Aviation Week’s “NextGen ahead” symposium now under way in Washington, D.C.

Yesterday former FAA Administrator Marion Blakey, now president of the Aerospace Industries Association, told the gathering, “It’s time to reach consensus on accelerating NextGen.”
