Small cities ask Obama to help tainted business jet image

The mayors of 70 small and medium-sized cities have written to President Barack Obama asking him to help change the public's perception of business jets, which have been vilified recently as symbols of corporate excess. The mayor says 85% of people flying on private planes are not big-spending CEOs, but work for small or mid-sized companies, and they pushed for the president to help preserve the 1.2 million jobs in the business jet industry.
