James Cameron, the Director of Titanic, has spent over 1/2 Billion dollars developing the methods needed for this, about to released, 3D Sci-Fi Mega-Movie.
This movie, under Mr. Cameron's guidance, has developed new technologies and techniques that will effect movie making for years to come. It is said, Mr. Cameron has invisioned this movie since he was 14 years old. I guess he had to wait a long-time, to say the least, for technology to catch up.
Avatar Technolgies include, "3D, CGI and and Performance Capture Workflows." These new techniques are sure to appear in future movies. The Picture is expected to move "Movie Making" and "Motion Picture Technologies" into a new realm of creativity. Of course, like George Lucus, James Cameron is going to benefit enormously from his hard work.
Avatar's audience is not expected to be a wide as the "Titanic's movie audience, however, this movie should return a handsome reward for Mr. Cameron, who has written, produced, and directed this mega-project.
